In 2015, Callico Press published A Day in the Life of a Shoe, sharing how Elizabeth Eckford inspired and touched the hearts of generations with her fateful walk to Central High School.
In retelling this historical story, we tapped into the empathetic spirit of young readers and expanded their awarness of the world in which they live.
FAITH,
In 2017, we shared the hope of Psalms 118:9
"The LORD is with me, I will not fear."
Through the story of a lion cub named Moja, we encouraged young readers to put faith over fear to find peace.
